Hosting and operation This website and its database are hosted on a server operated by us. Technical security logs may contain IP addresses and request times. These are processed separately from visitor statistics.

Enquiries and applications Your contact details, messages and optional PDF application files are stored centrally to handle your request. Only authorised people can access them. Application files are not publicly accessible. Contract enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; applications are processed to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. Data is deleted when its purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention requirements prevent deletion.

Page views without analytics consent We store the page path without URL parameters, the time and broad technical categories such as device type, browser family and operating system. We do not set analytics cookies or store your IP address, full user-agent string or a persistent visitor identifier in visitor statistics. Returning browsers are not linked in this mode.

Optional analytics with consent Only after you choose “Allow analytics” do we save a random browser identifier (up to 90 days) and a session identifier (30 minutes). These identifiers are pseudonymised in the database. We also collect a broad screen-size category and the hostname of a referring page. This allows us to measure returning browsers and use of the site, without identifying a person by name. This optional processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. We use no third-party advertising trackers.

Choice and withdrawal Your privacy choice is stored in a necessary cookie for 180 days. You can change it at any time using “Privacy settings”. Withdrawing consent removes the analytics identifiers from your browser and the associated analytics records from the active database. Analytics data is deleted from the active database after at most 90 days. Access-protected backups may retain data for up to 14 additional days before being automatically deleted.

Your rights Within the applicable legal conditions you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent for future processing. You can complain to a supervisory authority, including LDI North Rhine-Westphalia.
