Innovative Bahnbau GmbH works in track construction and maintenance. Our company is based in Gelsenkirchen and carries out assignments on railway construction sites across Germany. We support clients with work on tracks, switches and adjoining areas. We see a construction site as a combination of people, working arrangements and clearly allocated tasks.

What we do.

Our core services are track and switch construction, rail and sleeper renewal, and maintenance. We also offer civil and ancillary works, mowing and vegetation management, rope-access work for rock and slope stabilisation, and winter service. We discuss which services can sensibly be combined for a project based on its particular requirements.

Each service has its own description on our services page. These explain typical tasks, important interfaces and the information that helps us prepare for an enquiry. The agreed scope remains the basis for each assignment.

Good preparation requires a shared understanding of the task. We discuss the location and period, work areas, access and boundaries with other trades. We also clarify which documents are available and what records are required for the work carried out.
